Monmouth Cty. Roughnecks MC Help Popcorn Park

Really impressive sight and sound as the Roughnecks
rode up Humane Way, followed by a pickup,
3 SUV's loaded with supplies and a bus full with
their families to join them for a day at Popcorn Park

This past weekend, June 16, the Monmouth County Chapter of Roughnecks delivered the results of their donation drive to us at Associated Humane Societies/Popcorn Park. The day was started with about 30 motorcycles arriving on Humane way followed by several trucks and vans loaded with donations collected throughout several weeks by the members. There wasnít any donation overlooked for our animals in the shelter. The members and their families enjoyed a day at Popcorn Park followed by a barbeque in the picnic area. It was definitely enjoyed by everyone including staff and visitors that were invited to lunch courtesy of the Roughnecks.

Rob Caizza, with an old friend, Bonnie

We would like to give a special thank you to Rob Caizza, former Popcorn Park employee, who organized and arranged for this fantastic day. The Roughnecks sold Popcorn Park bracelets they had made, and along with other donations were able to raise over $2,700.00 to benefit our animals. We canít thank you all enough for the extraordinary effort put in to make this day a success and look forward to making it an annual event.

They filled our supply buildings with this pickup
as well as 3 SUV's loaded with supplies,
everything from dog and cat food to
cleaning supplies and blankets

The club and their families enjoying the park

They brought their own grill and over 300 hot dogs,
hamburgers and fixin's that fed the club,
their families as well as park staff and
any visitors who were hungry

Besides all the supplies, the club raised over $2,700.00
in donations!!! Rob Caizza (Rob put the event together)
