The Run the Pines for Canines 5K is a running race to benefit the Associated Humane Societies’ Popcorn Park facility in Lacey Township. The race will take place on Saturday, June 9, 2012 starting from Popcorn Park in Lacey at 9:00 AM. A very unique aspect of this event is that it is dog-friendly, meaning that participants can bring and run with their dogs. All proceeds from the race will benefit the animals at Popcorn Park, especially the RES-Q fund for shelter dogs and cats.
The “Run the Pines for Canines 5K” is meant to support the incredible work done at Popcorn Park. Race entry is $30.00, and comes with a free t-shirt and Popcorn Park admission ticket for all pre-registered runners (registered before May 21, 2012).
REGISTRATION IS ALSO AVAILABLE ON THE DAY OF THE RACE!!! PLEASE BE AT POPCORN PARK EARLY ENOUGH TO REGISTER AND RUN ON-TIME (8AM)!!! All runners and guests are invited to a post-race award ceremony where we will recognize the top human and canine participants. ENTRY FORMS ARE LOCATED AT BUSINESSES AROUND LACEY TOWNSHIP: POPCORN PARK, LACEY TWP. H.S., ULTIMATE GYM AND FITNESS CENTER and more...
