Surely, the injured girl had been owned, but because of an injury, the owner absolved themselves of any responsibility. When the Associated Humane Societies was called regarding a wounded pi bull, they saw a swollen right hind leg that was dangling.
She was immediately brought to AHS Newark where x-rays were taken and medication given to alleviate her pain.
It was obvious that extensive orthopedic work was required to fix her broken leg and broken spirit.
Thanks to the AHS Res-Q Fund, we contacted Dr. Ilija Mitrovic at All Creatures Great & Small who stepped up to the plate to help Rosebud at a reduced rate. A rod placement was performed and now Rosebud is back at the AHS Newark Medical Dept. recuperating. She will spend time recovering but a lifetime of love is what we are searching for.
Our Res-Q Fund is our go-to fund when orthopedic surgery or other specialized care is needed. For more information on Rosebud, call AHS at 973-824-7080 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org and refer to File 27447-F.
