In 2017, we took in Tippy, a beautiful little a grey fox. Tippy and a couple other grey foxes where confiscated by Fish and Wildlife because the where illegally owned and not cared for properly. They all were taken and held at the same facility until proper places could be found for each to live out their lives, as they were too accustomed to living with people to be released to the wild.
Our other nocturnal residents, Peanut the raccoon and Cleo the Ruppell’s fox, sleep all day and then play around at night. But Tippy doesn’t mind lounging out during the day where she can be seen on top of her house or on a resting bench.
She likes her regular diet of beef and dry chow but will always finish grapes and eggs first, (what a combination!).
You can get updates in letters and pictures three times a year when you sponsor Tippy on the Wildlife Club. Check out how you can help support Tippy.
She is also featured in July in our beautiful 2018 AHS/Popcorn Park calendar!
