A Newark apartment dweller moved & left behind his principles & values when he abandoned two helpless dogs.

They were discovered when someone wanted to rent the apartment. The black male dog was found in a feces-filled crate while his companion had the run of the apartment. The emaciated dog was in such dire straits, he was immediately brought to an emergency veterinary hospital where he spent a few days to improve his condition. He is still recuperating at the AHS Medical Department in Newark.

We call the young emaciated Lab/Pit mix "Felix" and his not-so-bonded partner is "Oscar" who is a mixture of Basset Hound & Pit. Both need & deserves loving and responsible homes. They need walks in the woods, sniffing the different smells of the autumn air, eating from a bottomless food bowl & knowing that they are loved.
