The value of the life of an animal has no concern or worth to many of the pet owners in Newark. The resident who brought her to us said she found her as a stray ….
The young Lhasa Apso is about 2 years old and she was immediately brought to our groomer who needed to give "Lola" reassurance that this was the beginning of the best day in her life. Clearly, Lola was elated at being given freedom from the matted mess (see below) that kept her a prisoner in her own body.
In visiting Lola while she waits for the 7 day holding period to end, we observe a placid, sweet lass who didn't deserve the lack of a respectful, caring home.
A donation will help us with our open-door program and vigorous adoption program. We have an on-going education program for those who wish to adopt a dog requiring grooming or may need other high maintenance care.
Lola is sweet, quiet and subdued. We know that the acceptance and love from a caring person will transform her into a beautiful hopeful companion. She's already there …. what she needs now is a one-way ticket to love. File 19915-F.
