This lovely, well-treated trio were left homeless after their owner passed away. Sadly, no specific plans had been made for their future and a representative brought them to the AHS Newark facility. It has been a devastating change in their future and our concern is that they get through this initial change in an easy, effortless manner. Thankfully, ChaCha, Ebony and Coco are kept together and we are hoping that they will find a future where the threesome can remain together. They are 4, 6 and 7 years old respectively and we are as hopeful as they are that they will find the comfort and support needed.
For pet owners, it is important that arrangements be made with a relative, friend, co-worker, veterinarian or attorney for the future of your animals. The AHS has been on a never-ending campaign to ask that your dogs and cats are remembered -- especially at such times when you are no longer actively able to care for them. For more information on the future care of your pets, just e-mail us and we will help whenever possible.
ChaCha, Ebony and Coco were in need of veterinary care. Each of the very sweet dogs required eye surgery for cherry eye and all of them needed to be neutered. Thanks to the Res-Q Fund, the trio have been given all necessary medical attention. Your donations will go a long way to help other needy orphans that arrive. The Cocker Spaniels are now en route to our Tinton Falls shelter for a chance at a lasting and loving home. For more information, call AHS at 732-922-0100 or e-mail us.
