We are overwhelmed by the thoughts and concern for our new friend Leo from all of you, and appreciate your support so much! This is day number four of Leo's recovery and today, Leo really found his happy feet! Our Tibetan Mastiff pup really showed off just how much of a puppy he is, and ran and played like a complete goofball today. He is most definitely feeling a lot better already and we're just so happy for him.
We finished shaving all of the awful mats off of Leo today and saw so much more of his terribly neglected skin. We can't imagine how uncomfortable and itchy Leo must have been for so long. Every inch of his skin is covered in sores and scabs. Leo had a very long medicated bath today and already, the redness and inflammation in his skin is starting to fade. We are so thankful that Leo came in when he, (read his original story here), did because his condition would have deteriorated rapidly with the cold winter upon us and him living in a place where he had no shelter whatsoever.
Leo was happy to ham it up today for the camera, so enjoy this giant puppy goofing around and having fun! We will update on our gentle giant, Leo, again soon!
