When a skeletal stray came through our doors a few weeks ago, (see photo left), we were confident that this sweet, hopeful lass would thrive under the watchful eye of our Medical Dept. and caring staff.
We call her "Callista" which means 'most beautiful' in Greek. (See After photos above and below.)
Even though she has seen the most uncaring and neglectful side of life, she has blossomed into a loving pup -- but she is still starved. It is affection, attention and acceptance that we want to add to her life in a wonderful home and lifetime commitment.
To that end, Callista has been relocated to AHS in Tinton Falls where there are many more people to visit our shelter, thereby increasing her chance to find that right someone.
Thanks to your contributions to our Res-Q Fund, the AHS has helped and continues to help the sick, injured, handicapped, abused victims that come through our doors.
There are many other dogs that need to find a sweetheart before Valentine's Day. We have Shih Tzus, Lhasa Apsos, Shepherds, Yorkshire Terriers, Mastiffs, Pit Bull, Miniature Pinschers, Shar Pei and more.
And don't forget that we have beautiful cats that would make your house a home.
All animals that are adopted go with all necessary inoculations, leash, collar, tag, microchip, spay/neuter and 10 day medical guarantee.
For more information, call AHS at 732-922-0100 or e-mail us. AHS is open 7 days a week for your convenience.
