A young, friendly and emaciated Boxer was found as a stray and brought to the local Police Department. The Associated Humane Societies Tinton Falls shelter was contacted and the Animal Control Officer was dispatched to pick up the needy boy.
The bones protruded along his back, his ribs were visible and it was obvious he had not eaten in a very long time. The care and concern given to this young unneutered male was sorely lacking but it had not hampered his love of people.
Thanks to your donations, "Johnny Depp" was checked by our veterinary staff concerning the abnormally scrawny build. After monitoring his weight, it was ascertained that he had an excellent appetite and the cause of his skeletal condition could only be attributed to food being withheld from him.
Johnny Depp is a sweet, hopeful fella who and what better time of year than to give a wonderful home to a great dog! Johnny is one of many dogs, cats, puppies and kittens that are waiting for a very special Christmas wish.
