The Magnificent 7
When the AHS received an anonymous complaint regarding a backyard breeder, Animal Control Officer/ Investigator Kevin Rooney went to the Sayreville residence to verify the matter.
The situation was first checked into on the dog owner's Facebook page which indicated that the individual was inviting the public to give deposits on the pups which had just been born and would range in price from $300-$400.
The pit bull owner was also offering the male dog for stud fees; thereby increasing the number of unwanted animals that would be born.
ACO/ACI Kevin Rooney met with the owner of the dogs and pups and he agreed to surrender the just-weaned pups. An agreement was made between AHS and the owner that the male and female dogs would be altered within a month.
