Our darling duo, Benson and Fortune, are all healed up and ready to begin their search for a wonderful home of their own.
Benson and Fortune came to us from our Newark facility (Read Benson's and Fortune's full stories here), after they both suffered terrible cruelty at the hands of some heartless humans. Benson was attacked by another dog and then thrown over a fence and left for dead. Fortune was thrown from the window of a moving car and broke his leg. Both boys spent several weeks together in our recovery suite being treated for their injuries and during that time, they became very close to one another.
Benson, a 9 month old pit mix, was painfully shy when he arrived and would barely walk on a leash. He learned so much from his friend Fortune, a 5 month old pit mix puppy, and completely came out of his shell. The boys are like brothers now and seem to be inseparable, so we would love to find them a home where they can stay together forever. Both boys are super sweet, friendly, loving and affectionate now, and make friends so easily.
All they want to do is play and be puppies. They would do best in a home with no small children but they seem interested in other dogs and don't seem to mind cats either. The boys are hoping to meet that special family that will welcome both of them into their family and never let any harm come to them again. File#25216 and 25217
