Ashlee and Alice - Young, Bonded Sisters

A sisterly bond is unbreakable, and it's very obvious that our new pretty pittie sisters share that kind of bond. Ashlee and Alice are six month old sisters that were found as strays, running together and sticking to one another like glue. They were brought in to our Newark facility where they quickly got everyone's attention and melted the hearts of everyone that met them.

Alice, the larger of the two pups, had some soreness in her front legs, so while she was being checked out, Ashlee went upstairs to keep the administrative staff company. Our director noticed little Ashlee from across the room, quietly going from desk to desk, looking up to people in the hopes of getting some love and attention. Naturally the staff showered her with hugs and kisses because the little girl seemed a bit sad, but so very sweet. Our director learned that Ashlee's sister was still downstairs being checked out, and maybe that was the reason for little Ashlee acting as if she had lost her best friend. Well, when Alice came up and reunited with Ashlee, it was as if the two had not seen each other in years! They were beyond happy to be back together and were bopping all through the offices, tails wagging and rear ends wiggling with delight.

The girls stayed with administrative staff for about a week where they played, lounged around on giant, comfy beds, sleeping with their arms wrapped around one another, and got lots of attention. Ashlee and Alice were then transferred to us at Popcorn Park and we are very happy to welcome this delightful duo. The girls immediately had some playtime in our giant exercise yard, romping, roaming, and running like the wind. Then they had a relaxing spa day. Now, the girls are ready for a home of their own where they can stay together forever. If you cannot adopt, but would like to donate for our open door policy, please contribute to our efforts.

Ashlee and Alice are extremely sweet, lovable, well behaved, and very friendly. They love everyone they meet and would transition easily into any great home. Since they are extremely bonded, they will need to be adopted together. The girls don't seem to mind other dogs and any loving family would be lucky to open their hearts and home to these little sweethearts. Please come in and meet Ashlee and Alice and they'll melt your hearts too! They are now at our Forked River facility, File# 25192 and 25193. For more information, call 609-693-1900 or e-mail us.
