Brandy is an adorably affectionate sweetheart who through unfortunate circumstances is now without a home.
The mature miss was the beloved companion of an aging gentleman and they spent quiet times together. Tragically, Brandy's owner is in the moderate stage of Alzheimers disease which has left a lack of concern for the care, feeding, watering and habits of his Chihuahua. Family, friends and neighbors are alert to this situation and have brought Brandy to the AHS so that she may continue to lead a life filled with the love and comfort she had in better times.
For more information on Brandy, call AHS at 973-824-7080 or e-mail us and refer to File 133309.
Brandy is not the only resident who has been waiting for a "new leash on life".
Spike (133281) has been given a spa day and is all bathed and groomed to add happiness to your home.
Bevan (133150) was a little surprised at the picture taking but -- whatever -- if it is needed to find a great home for this lady, she is waiting to be your champion of cheer!
Rolo (133161) has been watching the door where visitors arrive and is hoping you are coming to see him.
The foregoing are just a sample to entice you to see the wonderful world of dogs waiting at the Associated Humane Societies! A donation will help us with the hundreds of animals waiting to meet you. All animals that arrive are given necessary inoculations, Bordatella, Killed Flu Virus, De-worming, distemper shot and Frontline. All animals are spayed/neutered before going into a lifetime of love with a brand new family.
