Your response to Hulk has been overwhelming with lots of concern and questions. Hulk has been staying in the Administrative Offices.
When the 2 month old pup was surrendered because of abnormalities to the front legs, we believe there was more to this story.
The owner was grooming this young pup for something much more loathsome. We don't know what measures were taken to make him "mean" but outstretched caring hands were something to bite and snap at. It is not known if he was going to be used in dogfights, a watchdog, but whatever it was, the owner did not want to be bothered with abnormal front legs.
Sadly, the pup has never known love, acceptance or tenderness since he was taken from his mother. There are two adult ladies -- Puppy and Binky -- who gently admonish Hulk's gruff behavior.
The Medical Dept. will be working on the front leg deformity and will keep readers informed. Our thanks to the Res-Q Fund donations for our continued work.
