Last September, a Neptune resident found this fella who appeared to be trying to survive in a densely wooded area. He had ulcerated sores along his back, he was dehydrated and in need of veterinary care. The AHS had the young gent under care until he was through with medications, flea treatment, de-worming. Thankfully, he was none-the-worse for wear and ready for a lifetime commitment.
It was a happy ending when he was adopted to a Piscataway resident. Unfortunately, Trueman was returned -- he did nothing wrong -- but his owner has to have knee surgery and will be unable to maintain care of the Boxer.
The 3 year old is well mannered and had just started on a new road to happiness …. when it was cut short. Now back at the AHS Tinton Falls shelter, this love-starved boy needs to find a new home. For more information, call the AHS at 732-922-0100 or e-mail us and refer to File 80764-NM.
