This brindle pit mix was found as a stray in Hillside and he must have endured a lengthy period of pain, misery and hunger before he came to us. The Society's Animal Control Officer picked up the needy dog and he was brought to the AHS shelter in Newark.
The brindle boy was immediately taken into the AHS Medical Dept. with what we have discovered to be a broken pelvis, a rear leg that needs to be examined and very little body fat on him. What cruel road he must have traveled to be in the condition that he is in. We call him Voyager.
Thanks to the AHS Res-Q Fund, we are able to take care of the necessities of his broken body …. but only you can help his broken heart. Please donate to our Res-Q Fund and help make Voyager's journey through life easier from this point on.
For more information on Voyager, call the AHS at 973-824-7080 or e-mail us and refer to File 127916. The AHS is located at 124 Evergreen Ave. in Newark, just off of Rt. 1 and 9, and Rt. 22, near the N J Turnpike, Exit 13A.
