As you can see by the pictures, Pearl is totally emaciated …. but still very vibrant.
DAY FOUR: The morning started out with a drive to Dunkin Donuts for TWO egg 'n cheese on a croissant. To Pearl, this is what a good life is all about!
Beardsley, (above), decided to get his own breakfast as he and Pops and Pebbles do as they wish. A bowl of premium dry dog food is always available.
Pearl and Mom drove to the Forked River facility to meet with the Popcorn Park staff and Sandy Hickman, (right), who was waiting to give Pearl a spa day. As you can see, this pathetic lady is emaciated and only time will tell if she can survive whatever past she suffered.
After a thorough cleaning and trim, more chicken thighs for the little lady.
After a short time, it was a stop at Popcorn Park Animal Clinic to meet Dr. Laney Baris for a check-up. Pearl has pneumonia and requires two shots a day. She is in the Medical Dept. for her health. After Mom left, she ate more chicken and she even loves the veterinary dietary food! Blood tests were taken and she has been found to have hypoglycemia.
We will notify animal lovers as we receive more updates. Our thanks to all who donate to our Res-Q Fund.
